Feeling Sketchy Challenge #9

Hi All!

I am sure you have all noticed my absence over the last couple of months - I have seriously lost my papercraft mojo and despite countless attempts to find it again - It was just not happening!

As usual, I had put my name down to do a Thankyou card swap over at Craftmad for the month of May (I can't help myself) - leaving it until only yesterday to make a start on my two cards that should have been received by this date by my swap partner!

I was having big trouble - that is until I saw the below sketch challenge over at the Feeling Sketchy blog!

and even though this challenge was meant to be a scrapbook page - they were allowing  it to be made into a card, as long as you followed the sketch!

So, after pulling out numerous stashed supplies left right and center, I created the following....

Not much Kaszazz product on this one other than Supa Tape and the Dark Brown Ink pad! The gorgeous Teddy Bear image was from a book that I had almost donated to Vinnies, when I happened to look at it in a different light and decided to repurpose it!

So now I am off to make the other Thankyou card to send so I can pop them in the post tomorrow when I am in town.

  1. Hi Kelly, so glad you could use the sketch. Did you crochet the flower yourself? Lovely thankyou card, thanks for joining us this week at Feeling Sketchy :)

    1. Hi Jessica! No can't take credit for the flower - it was actually a rather stained lace doily that I had decided to cut up and use rather than throw it all out. I am big into upcycling at the moment! Thanks for your lovely words!

  2. Hi Kelly! Lovely to see you at Feeling Sketchy! I think your card is adorable.... thanks for playing :)

  3. What a sweet card, Kelly. I am so glad you rescued the image from a book, it is way too cute. And well done on reusing a piece of it.
Thanks for joining in the fun at Feeling Sketchy this week :)

  4. Love that you reused that pic, and such a cute one at that!!! Can total understand the not having the mojo but mine is to do with just having a another baby and getting no sleep. Hope it cames back soon :)

  5. Missed you, glad you are rediscovering your mojo! Lovely image - great recycling. xx
