Baby Thankyou Package

Hello! My apologies for not posting my Festive Friday yesterday - but I have a good excuse - Honest!
I stumbled across this fantastic blog - http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/ and it's current challenge is to create a "Bundle of Joy" card, scrapbook page or item. They are offering some really cool Baker's Twine as the prize which I would love to get my hands on - so I decided to make a card. The only problem was my card turned out way to simple for my liking - don't get me wrong I love it and am really happy with it - I just expected more from myself!

So............
I decided to make 10 matching cards - 5 in the green above and 5 in the brown below.

Then I added some matching envelopes and a bag to hold it all in.

All products are from Kaszazz with the exception of the Chocolate Brown Satin ribbon which was left over for my BIL's engagement album, card and card holder set.

I haven't put any sentiments on the cards or bag - but thought it would be suitable as Thank you cards for either a baby shower or the birth of a baby boy.
Now, I just need to find somebody that is having a baby that I know and pray that it is a boy.

Cheers

Twilight Inspired Box & Card

Hi All! Well it's a lovely wet cold and miserable day here today in Coffs.... but one of those perfect days for crafting and for bugging Annemaree with fixing up those little pesky things that were going wrong with my blog.
So a big thanks to my dear pal Annemaree for her help and her patience today - she also created some really cute signatures for me - so keep your eye out for the rest of them.

Anyhow, onto a crafty project..... I was inspired by the below workshop
2H717 - Red Apple Romance Box & Card
Created by: Genevieve Payne
(Contact me if you would like to do this workshop!)

to create a box and card for my sister who is totally in love with The Twilight Saga and is constantly changing from Team Edward to Team Jacob depending on her mood... LOL

I didn't have the same size box or the actual paper as the instructions - so I adapted it a lot to fit in with what scraps I had. I am happy with how it turned out and I know that my sister is going to be wrapt!

My apologies for the icky photos - now that I have fixed my blogger problems, it seems that I have camera issues too!

Cheers

Hey Kelly, thanks for your comment, I am so addicted to distress inks! Well your blog is very easy on the eye, easy to navigate, love the simple soft colours and love that you post regularly, which is what I am trying to do! Congrats on reaching 100 posts! I don't even know how many I have on mine! :)

A huge Congratulations Tania!

Belated Easter Wishes

Hi All! I hope you all had a lovely relaxing Easter.
I got a lovely surprize with my Mum, Dad and baby brother turning up on Good Friday and staying for the weekend. The highlight would have to be my kids waking my brother up early on Easter Sunday - payback from all those years when I was a teenager and he and my sister would wake me up at some ungodly hour at Easter and Christmas.

For my Aussie readers - I hope you are enjoying the long weekend thanks to Anzac Day yesterday. Don't forget to make a batch of Anzac bikkies in celebration and thanks for the work that our diggers did for us!

Sparkly High Heels

Hi All! You know how sometimes you see a card and go WOW that would be perfect for ?????. Well I saw just that card over at Raechel's blog http://raechelscards.blogspot.com/. This card is perfect for my little Sister! I know Annemaree is hanging out for this photo - so here is my take on Raechel's card.

I am going to write on the inside something a little gushy like now that she is a big girl at Uni not to forget her inner child and always allow a little time for playing.

Almost 100% Kaszzaz with the exception of the pink ribbon on the front (which was a handle on a gift bag Moo used for Valentine's Day that got wet - so I kept the ribbon and recycled the rest) and of course the pink glitter paper. I did think of using Jac paper in my Cricut - but I wasn't up for the challenge. The little girl has been coloured in using smooch - but the camera didn't pick up the shimmer or the intensity of the bright colours. The high heels were cut at 3 1/2" using The Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.

I also completely forgot to mention that I am entering this into the Stamping Vacation Challenge - Fountain of Youth - Playing dressups.  Wish me luck!

Scrappy Moms Stamp Challenge

Hi All,  Thought I would share with you my challenge entry for the latest Scrappy Moms Stamp Challenge.

The Challenge was to make a card using any cut from the Cricut New Arrival Cartridge.

Anyway, this challenge was great as I was able to get a real feel for this cartridge to the point where I ended up making four cards! WOW - I was on a roll.

I found this idea on the net by I think a lady called Kate????
Unfortunately although I had left the blog page open, my computer rebooted itself last night loosing the details. My apologies to the creator.
The top of the peapod is actually 3D allowing the button peas to be slipped under. I did change the sentiment placement on it though.

I have used a large variety of products to make these cards - all from my overflowing stash (don't tell hubby though)!

New Product Release

Hi All! I thought I had better post the current new product release, as next month there are going to be even more new products to share!

If anybody would like to order something, please contact me at braydonandkel@bigpond.com or leave your email or phone number in a comment below and I will contact you.

Another Blog Award

Hi All! I have received another Liebster award..... this time from the newly and ever so excited about it - fellow Kaszazz consultant Mel Camilleri.

Make sure you head over to Mel's blog at http://kaszazzconnect.blogspot.com/ and share some blog love around, I know she would love to get some new followers and what a great way to help a new consultant on the start of a successful business.
Once again I am honoured to receive an award and I am just as excited this time as I was when I got my first one. I just love awards and prizes! I also love all the comments that you all leave - that is what really makes blogging all worthwhile.

Anyway,  more about this award......

This award was created for bloggers who have fewer than 300 followers, but who put a lot of love and heart into their work. It's a great way to share blogs that might not otherwise be seen or ones you want to share with others.

As a recipient of this award I must share the love and pay it forward by:

1. Creating a post where you blog about the Liebster award and reveal your 3 - 5 blog picks.

2. Let those people know you have chosen them.

3. Copy and past the blog award onto your blog.

4. Have faith that your followers will rally and show their crafty love back out to those you awarded.

5. Finally - Have Fun!!!!!!

This time I have chosen:

These ladies are just so so creative and are just really nice! They are both are addicted to paper punch art - but I have managed to make them both Cricut addicts too!

What an awesome and creative blog! I found Marelle's blog when hubby's aunt sent me a birthday card that she had made in one of Marelle's classes.
I just love Amy's blog - lots of simple and beautiful cards using stamps as well as her Cricut.
Please go and check out these ladies blogs and share a bit of blog love around. I am sure you will find their blogs just as inspirational as I do!

Hope you are all having a great Sunday! Cheers Kel

I'm so excited.........

I am soooo excited, I have to share my great news with you all!

Ages ago I submitted my Becky Bear Scrunched SB Make & Take card into Kaszazz , I knew it had been accepted, I have just been patiently waiting for it to be uploaded to the Kaszazz Website and available for all Kaszazz consultants to use.

Anyway, reading yesterday's Kaszazz Star (our consultant's newsletter) I noticed that my card was there in black and white in the new to the website section.

I am just sooooo excited and honoured.

I know that this is a really simple card - but I came to create it by using up the scrappy pieces on my desk that I had accidently split my glass of water onto.

If anybody is in the Coffs Harbour area and would like to host a Make & Take Demostration where you could make one of these cards for FREE - please contact me at braydonandkel@bigpond.com or leave a comment below with your contact details.

Scrapbook Pages

Hi All - Me agin! This time with some Scrapbook pages that I had promised a few people I would post. I created these pages at home, whilst all my friends were enjoying themselves at The Scrap Me Happy weekend.

My May calendar page

A pocket page to hold my Mother's Day cards & email.
I used the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge for the Shilouette.

Our trip to the Cowra Japense Gardens
This layout was inspired by the Kaszazz 2H252 Jewelled Dragonfly 12x12 Layout workshop designed by Sonya Edwards

My June Calendar Page.

Our trip to Taronga Zoo in Sydney.
I used the Zoobaloo Cricut Cartridge.

I just love my Cheeky Monkeys.
I used the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge and the font was from my SCAL program.

I managed to scrap more pages than I ever do when I am away -  despite my children, housework, going out to lunch with Annemaree and all the other bits and pieces I did!
